Reluctantly offering this for sale.
I had an Eastman for sale and it didn`t get enough interest so this is on the block.
Why am I selling?
A few reasons.
Family needs $$.
My hands are deteriorating and I will not be playing at all in the near future.
I want to get down to 2 guitars(I have this and 2 Eastmans).
This is in near mint condition.
I bought it here a few years ago.
It currently has (in memory serves) Rewind low wind PAFs.
Either that or low wind Lollars.
Either way, it sounds great.
It plays and sounds as good or better that any of the R9`s I have owned over the years.
It`s not a lightweight.Old school heft.
A little over 10 pounds on the bathroom scale(as reliable as that is).
Weight just adds balls.
Every guitar has an inherent tone.
This is Sabbath/Priest/Humble Pie.
Think War Pigs and heavy Blues/Mule.
But it does pretty jazz and clean blues very well also.
Comes with OHSC.
Neck is a mid 59 carve leaning toward 60.
Peek a boo flame from different angles.
Nitro.
Looking for $1450 OBO.
Also available without pickups.
CONUS ONLY.
Low ballers will be ignored.

These are amazing guitars, folks, and I wish I could get it. That's a solid flame top, nitro finish and it was made in the Fujigen factory in Japan. Fujigen has been churning out excellent singlecuts since the 70s.

This is really cool and seems like a terrific buy. Is this a full gloss nitro finish or slightly satin -- hard to tell from pics. Also trying to pick out from pics what the heel/body transition is like -- is that heel kind of smoothly blended into a full depth back (vs sticking out father and being stepped down)?

Full gloss.
I just don't polish my guitars to gloss.
The heel is the same as Gibson.
