Sweet, I own an older Eastman (486) similar to yours with sunburst finish. Sounds like yours has different pickups but otherwise look very similar. I really like mine and play it a lot. Love the finish and grain on yours.
That's a nice finish. I see almost no Eastmans in the flesh, but in pics they sure look to have the aging process down in a manner that I like a lot. I really hate the overdone aging/relic-ing that individuals can't seem to resist -- so overdone and bogus! -- but Eastman really manages to enhance the luster of coloration of its aged guitars, and to soften edges minimally but very attractively. That looks like a flat-out great, great guitar. Enjoy it.
I just heard one in action for the first time.
The other guitar player had a custom job with a Lollar CC pickup, and I liked the sound of the Eastman better.
