Not exactly a 'day of' NGD, but I very recently got this wildwood 60's standard and think it looks somewhat decent.

These '59 "Wildwood" pickups are legitimately great - tons of chime in all three positions. I'm also really regretting never trying out a 60's neck LP before, I normally go for the most massive of massive necks, but I play totally differently on a thin neck.

Beautiful. I think Wildwood, particularly, must somehow manage to get particularly select tops from Gibson. Yours has a really astounding figure that is spectacular but not gaudy. As for 60s thin necks, I love them myself, and like the way they encourage a light touch and a non-grabby approach. I know big necks are "in" and people love them, and I say great, that's good -- leave me the thinner ones, no problem. Those thinner necks were not made by mistake!

Congratulations, that is absolutely gorgeous. I'm a huge fan of my Wildwood '50s Standard, I plan on adding a Wildwood '60s Standard to my stable before too long.

Besides the beautiful flame, the top is particularly well matched. Personally, I think a good number of the new Standards have "seam issues". Yours is awesome. Enjoy in good health!

Congrats, super sweet guitar you have there. I agree, the Les Paul Standard 60's Slim Taper C neck is the way to go, not too big and not too small. A great compromise between the 59 and Slim Taper 60's D profile necks.

Was that a request or are all theirs different from stock?

They come in all the wildwoods, from what I understand they are the '59 tributes that came in the 2015 traditionals, but they have a much lower output bridge pickup.

Mine neck is 7.2 and my bridge is 7.3, whereas the old '59 tributes were usually 7.4ish neck and 8ish bridge.
