NGD Sweetwater AAA 60's Standard Lemonburst (yes another one)

There are so many NGD threads on these from early 2021 and then a flurry of them in December that I just missed by a few weeks. Third time is the charm for me I got first a Bourbon and then a Cherry and none of them quite rocked my world. But this lemonburst finally settled all arguments.

9lb 2oz actually feels the same weight and balances better on the strap for me than the bourbon which was 4oz lighter. This feels perfect and I think even if it was a flat color I would still love it. Pops flame from every angle, a cool thick slight chevron that vaguely reminds me of Ace Frehley's 1959.

You all know the excitement of seeing how the real life guitar matches the Sweetwater pics. I'm really happy with it. I have to find some double-cream pups for it I think even though I love the 61 pickups - the look of double creams on this top I think would be killer. I think I'm a "keep the pg and poker chip guy" but we'll see. Anyway here's the little picture gallery.

Kind of wish someone knew how to merge all the Lemon 60's NGD threads together but I like looking at them all.

In the last week Sweetwater has had 4 including this one that had really good weight and figure. So it's never really too late.

Sweetwater tends to under-promise and over-deliver…
i have picked multiple tops from them only to find the one they sent is even better in person…as u experienced…

Plus every sweetwater lester I’ve bought has been masterfully setup…

yours is freaking awesome…very happy for you
only issue I see is that i don’t own it
