Wow, very nice. I love the mineral lines in addition to the nice stripes and the dark fretboard. I also like it with the pickguard. Very sweet. Yeah, man, if that were me, I would keep that thing bone stock (except for strap locks).

When life gives you lemons, make Les Pauls ...

Heh, I used to always put strap locks on my guitars. Then I just started using regular straps and rubber fender washers. This one has larger strap buttons, so I probably won't even use those washers lol.

Nice! I'm surprised nobody called dibs yet. :laugh2:

Lol you never know!

Yeah mine came with the new case. To be honest, I don't like them. The guitars don't fit snuggly into the cases like they used to. There is some slop around the body of the guitar. I haven't liked the cases since Gibson stopped using TKL a couple years ago. The TKL cases were the good ones.
Agreed they are not as tight as the other style. That needs correcting. I left the grey foam by lower strap button in the case to take up some of that play

yup. I just checked mine and it's the same way. I'm gonna test fit a few other cases I have to see if there's a better fit.

it does stay snug when the top is latched. you can't feel hardly any bumping around when closed. lots of slop when opened.

Problem is with that much movement inside the case it will eventually wear on the finish and knock the gloss off at least. Love the latches but I’m starting to worry about the fit being so loose. My 2021 goldtop standard has a burgundy lined case and is super snug. I can hear the Lemonburst bang around inside mine when I shake it around when closed and latched. I sent Gibson a email to see what they have to say with some pictures and that video so stay tuned

The latches on mine aren't great either. They are a little loose when they are fully latched.

My latches are snug and all good when latched except when shut and latched and I hold the case and gently move it north and south, I can hear the guitar banging inside same as my video shows it moving up and down a lot. I’m sorry but that is not normal or acceptable. I have like 10 other Les Paul’s in Gibson hard shell cases and none are like this or that loose fitting.

Yeah they should've stuck with TKL made cases. I guess they are trying to save money.
Good thing I play the guitar and not the case, lol.
