Turning 21 on the 9th of November, and I've decided that I am going to be treating myself to a new axe. I've had a lot of different ones on my mind, and I've narrowed it down to 4. I currently have an Epiphone Les Paul...it's decent but I'm looking for something a little nicer quality/maybe a slightly diff. style.

My first option is a Schecter C-1 I've found for $330..its a 2009 model, white, with Seymour Duncan Blackouts.

I've also started looking at Agile Les Paul Style guitars; they seem to get good reviews and their prices are fantastic. I've narrowed it down to an AL-2000 black/gold hardware with a Floyd or an AL-2500 Natural

Never used a Floyd before..but I'm willing to learn.

Lastly, I am also considering an ESP LTD Viper 50 OR an Epi G400 if I can get it for a decent price.

My budget is probably about $350 and I am left handed (yes, I have found lefties of all these guitars available online, I realize some are righties in the pics I've attached).

Thoughts?

I'd say go for the Agile. I don't know much about Schecters, but I think Agile wins here.

Never played any of them, but I have yet to hear a bad word said about Agiles :thumb:

I've played all three and personally I would go with the Schecter. I think overall they're more consistently good guitars.

I'd go for the Schecter... They are very good guitars. Mahogany body, set neck and 24 frets. Should be different, but not far away from a Les Paul, tone wise. I have no opinion about the blackouts, but you usually can't go wrong with Seymour Duncans
