Hey all, I dont get new gear very often so I figured id share. Its an early 80s Fender Sidekick 10. A little 10 watt amp thats made in Japan. It sounds real sweet at bedroom practice volumes, and can get pretty loud if I need it to. Really basic eq and volume/master set up.

Gets a nice tube-like overdrive when you turn it up and it sounds great and real clean, a good base for pedals. The kicker is that i managed to pick it up for only 30 bucks!!

This is just another addition to my collection of 80s Japanese instruments -- my guitar, my bass, my 12 string, my keytar, and now my amp! What amazing work they did in that era, and its so cheap now

Cool! I had a similar version at one point. The "15" model, might have even been a Squier. Total "Sabbath in a box" house amp!

Congrats, love Fender amps.
Even my little Vibro Champ's 6 watts and 8" speaker has that great Fender tone.
Great deal.
Enjoy.

only issue i really have with the amp is that the volume knob doesnt really seem to be functional, only the master volume . obviously that was the reason behind the low price, but I'm wondering if theres anything I can easily do about it? I dont have much experience with electronics so i bet taking the amp apart myself is il advised. would it be an expensive repair? It doesnt really bother me much
