I gots me one, and I love it. I got mine used and the volume knobs wouldn’t work properly in the middle position, so I switched out the wiring for an Emerson 50s wiring harness and put some BurstBucker Pros in it at the same time.

The only thing that I don’t like about it is that I’d doesn’t come with a HSC. I bought a Gator case for mine.

Congrats! Happy NGD.

Ever since I tried a 61 SG a few weeks back, I’ve been GASing hard for a nice humbucker equipped SG to pair with my Les Paul…but I also want a p90 guitar. This is just making it clear I need both.

LtDave is building me a P-90 Desert Star Apache.

That’s all I need now, just this SG, and the Apache P-90…

…the rest can go…

…and this paddle game…

…that’s all!….

and this phone!…

…and lamp…

My Apache will have TV Jones Filtertrons.... it will be my third Desert Star.

Love a great SG though..... congratulations on a excellent example.

I thought you already knew about SGs. But if not, welcome to the club…
I have previously had several SG’s including ‘61 RI’s and a CS ‘64.
But the last couple years have been dedicated to single cut Les Pauls.

Lately I purchased a Les Paul Standard at a GC, but I couldn’t get the adjustments to work because the neck angle was off for my action. It went back for a refund.

Finally I remembered the Heritage cherry SG Standard they had so went back to check it out yesterday.

Welp, I couldn’t just leave it there! MY guitar would still be in THEIR store!
It really sounds like I like and the neck is just right!

I’ve been enjoying it so much today my hands are fatigued! :slash:

That’s great you found an SG that works for you after going through all the others in the past.

After getting DSG012, my other SG don’t get played much. I got spoiled with the DSG, and now all my other SG necks feel too thin and don’t get played. Thinking about selling them.

2021 Standard Heritage Cherry.
Long tenon.
I’m not the biggest fan of batwing p/g’s, or Grovers, but this thing absolutely works, stock.

The neck on this one is fine as-is. Not too thin, like my ‘61 was (a little). But not as fat as I usually prefer (FAT!).
This has fatter as you go up.

The Apache Dave is building for me currently will be (approx) 0.90” - 1.00”
