It's pretty amazing. So amazing that I don't know if I can play guitars without an unfinished solid neck anymore hah.

The narrowfields are very good. Very volume and tone control sensitive. The position switching can go from humbucker to a cleaner p-90 thick to almost a hot single coil without noise. Pretty happy so far. There is something special about the satin natural feeling woods for sure.

Who the heck would get a full rosewood neck and not post a pic of it?? Where is that "report" button? :)

That being said, I agree. Playing necks that don't have a gloss finish is where it is at for me. My LP needs a good cleaning before and after. It is rewarding with this procedure, but my satin PRS and Tele don't need it.

lets see yours?? I'd like to upgrade my SC to a solid neck but they all seem to be artist grade which is mega bucks. Truth be told the modern eagle is too, but I paid less for it in mint condition than a Gibson Les Paul Standard would cost on sale.

Nice - is that a wide 25.5 scale neck. Sure looks like it.

The MEIII is AWESOME!!! GC has ne for sale that I have been debating....

I am a HUGE fan of the NF pickups. I have a 25th Anniversary Swamp Ash Special NF - same config....3 NF 57/08, vol, tone, 5-way. You're right. VERY sensitive to volume and tonally broad depending on the volume control.

I am also eye-balling a couple NF-3s....ugh, decisions!!! Anyway, AWESOME score!!!!

^^^^ I like the swamp ash a lot. I think they make a studio custom or something with the NF too. I'm very new to PRS, and I stole this MEIII for less than a Les Paul standard and its in mint condition.

I am also like the soapbar customs, and the 408 and the 513 and...guitar center has a really nice 408 pauls guitar that I almost bought, but the MEII was the ****.

I'd like a single cut PRS in unfinished / satin black korina and triple soapbars..... Madagascar ebony fingerboard board with streaks....Some kind of body and neck binding...And...Hrmmmm what kind of inlay...

both fantastic guitars. Congrats!

My McCarty is a "McRosie" with Indian Rosewood neck from 2001. It truly spoils a guy.

I finally had a chance to try a PRS - I don't even know what model it was. All I can say is OMG. Talk about effortless.
