As many of you know I have owned a LOT of Les Pauls in my life.
There have only been a hanful that were "special".
This is one of them.
I do wish it was a varnish series(they do make one, I just haven`t found a decent price on one yet).
This is Nitro and sounds fantastic.
Lollars underwound P90s.
Some people think these are too "polite" I love them for jazz and clean blues and add a little hair and they are spectacular.
I don`t play metal with P90s(these would probably do that well too) so they are perfect for me.
The guitar is light weight,
Fit and finish is perfect.
Custom shop quality for a 3rd of what that other company prices them at.
Hand made.
NO CNC!!!!!!!!
I waited until I had a day off(rare these days) so I could devote some time to it, and the amp.
A Supro Blues King 10.
I opted for this(of the 3 offered).
The 8 is too small and the 12 is 15 watts and I wanted smaller.
This 10 is 5 watts with a boost switch and a drive switch.
Cross a low watt Vox and a Blues Jr and add a little Marshall attitude and that defines this amp.
P90s and low watt tubes is pure bliss.
If I ever get a varnish version it will be a battle of the P90s.
My SB59V ha the edge.
The varnish versions just have something(or don`t) over the nitro IMO.
NOT knocking the nitro, just the V feels like a 40 year old guitar the first time you touch it.

If you have the opportunity to purchase an Eastman LP, do it.

Crappy pics as always!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You will not regret it.

Thanks for the information. These are on my radar and pop up here in Japan occasionally. They always look amazing in person.

What’s the neck profile like? Closer to 50s or 60s?

I played this a LOT today.
Try as I might, I`m just not a P90 guy. I love the sound of OTHER people playing them(same as a strat) but I may be listing this for trade/sale.
If anyone has any interest before I list it, try me.

The P90s really shine, either Jazz mellow or Rock loud. For fun, turn the pups down to zero, crank the amp to 10, and then sneak the pup volumes up a tiny bit at a time. You’ll get some really interesting sounds.
Sweet!

Did you buy it then?
