So i did the deal, i traded my 2005 Epiphone Zakk Wylde Camo Les Paul for this.

Its a 2003 Explorer Studio Pro Swamp Ash.

Multi-part swamp ash body, mahogany neck, rosewood board. 500T bridge pickup, 496R neck pickup. This baby screams! Hamonics leap out all over the place and he lightly smaller explorer body is perfectly balanced.

It might not be a high end model, but it just feels different to the other guitars i have owned. It feels like a keeper!

The 500T is hotter than i expected, i migh not have to switch it out.

I've removed the stock cream switch tip and put on a black one i had in my spares box. Really pleased, cant wait for my next Gibby now!

Makes me GAS for a les paull voodoo even more!

well its been a couple of days and i havent put it down. By far and away the best player in my collection. Just bought a 500t for my epi goldtop, fantastic pickup.

Haha true, it aint the prettiest, im not in love wit the natural finish, could endup being refinished black.
