This was made in August, no finish flake issues. Very light aging. My friend objectively thinks this is my best sounding reissue. I know I’ve complained about Gibson pickups (I’m that guy), but these do sound very good, so maybe I have to eat some crow.

this one weighs just under 9 pounds. This is a great instrument. I’ll verify later but I think the color is a dirty lemon. These are dealer pics

Yeah I’ve seen a couple other recent “dirty lemon” R9s from Gibson that have a very defined burst with even a decent amount of red left, which I don’t get at all. If I want a lemon, the burst should be highly faded and not have any red left, IMO. This looks like iced tea to me. But it’s so gorgeous I wouldn’t have cared either. Really nice top.

That is a beautiful lady friend...I would call that Ice Tea fade before Dirty Lemon. Just my opinion is all.

You know in all honesty… that may actually fade to a different color…and very closely resemble or even become a lemon burst…

great score..
