New LP Jr.
Heavier than I thought it would be, which is good, I like a substantial feeling guitar.
Very resonant unplugged, have yet to plug her in and get a feel for the electronics.
I really like the color and the overall package.
Came with a beautiful plush case.
Nice dark fretboard.
There are a few QC issues that have slightly dampened the excitement:
1. large amount of polishing compound left on guitar in neck pocket and on the fretboard edges, frets 19-21.
2. unfinished area on fretboard where neck meets the body (pictured).
3. Gritty feeling frets, can hear the grittiness when bending the strings.
4. Fine spiderweb-type scratches and smudges all over guitar.
I know this is not a Custom Shop guitar, nor the top of the line model, but the above issues should
have been corrected before the guitar was shipped.
Enough of my sniveling.
I really like the looks of the guitar and it is certainly a keeper.
