Got my JB GT on Monday. I just stopped playin long enough to take a picture. I think it just became my new number one. This guitar is very very live if you know what I mean. Sounds great unplugged. The BB pups really give separation to each note when playing chords. The tone through a Marshall amp is to die for.

Only one drawback... the neck is a little sticky. For you pervys I mean the finish is hard to get up and down the neck. It is difficult to make a long slide into a note accurately. I may have to do something to smooth the neck a little.

Other than that I love this guitar.

Not that you don't already know what they look like, but here are the obligatory pics.

A shot of the stable. The Ibanez hollow body has paf's with coil splitting in it. It was number one until Monday. And a shot of the Amps.

Your Ibanez reminds me a little bit of George Benson's hollow body, sweet guitar! Oh sweet Epi too haha!

Love the JB man! That's schweet! Looks good with her relatives too.

Nice paint job on the room too. I'm a contractor, so I noticed that first! :)

In regards to your sticky neck, I was suggested from a member here to try Zymol cleaner wax on mine (just the neck not the fretboard or anything). It is a different type of wax (not like turtle wax). It makes it very slick and perfect for slides. It is absolutely the best option short of sanding it or something. It is now one of the first things I do to a new guitar when I am done setting it up. This stuff is kind of hard to find but I actually stumbled upon it at Walmart one time.

Great looking axe by the way.

if you don't want to sand the neck to get rid of stickiness... spray some fingerease on it every now and then... not much, mind you... but I wipe my neck down with the rag after hitting my strings with finger-ease...

nice looking stable of guitars!

Read the rules, Jr. NO politics here. Take it elsewhere... anywhere else.

this is a rule that is essential to a good forum... our 914world forums have survived because politics and religion are banned topics.:applause:
