Been wanting another Heritage since I stupidly sold a H535 years ago.... ive been looking at a few different colors along with the artesian aged (I have a aged on order). But a demo Chestnut Standard with a tiny ding popped up on Sweetwater for cheapish. I called and offered 15% less as a hail mary and they had no problem with that. Came in early today. Fit/finish/burst color everything is stellar even better quality then my old 535 and better then my Gibsons.

Real MOP inlays, not plastic. 9lb 6oz. 1 pc mahogany back, Michigan Maple top flame is very vintagey peekabo thats mostly present very intense, the pics dont show it well. Sounds huge, punchy, tons of sustain. A bit dark compared to my x2 Gibson LPs but in my experience Duncans and 59s tend to be a touch dark (not in a bad way at all)

This chestnut color is awsome! Wasent sure from the pics some online are very very dark and muddy. My only gripe is the neck is between a 60s and 50s neck i like big 50s like really big. So im not 100% sure ill be able to live w it....... which is a huge bummer. My hands cramp with tiny necks. My favorite are my 2014 traditional 59 neck and my 2020 Jr baseball bat.

My measurements:
Heritage at 1st .843 12th .931,
2014 trad 1st .897 12th 1.016,
2016 trad 1st .870 12th 1.027,
Gibby SG 1st .814 12th .882

Im going to keep playing and see if i can get used to the neck. Reminds me of my old 2017 traditional neck truthfully

Looks and sounds like a very nice guitar, I’ve been looking at Heritage H535s & H150s for quite awhile, and while the neck thickness is less than what I’d be looking for nowadays I bet I could live with it.
Hopefully it works out for you!
