So been jonseing for one since i bought and loved x2 2020 standard H150s but the necks are a bit small with not much in the shoulders. Between a 60s and 50s Gibson or identical to a 2017/18 Trad ROUNDED neck.

And after a minor left hand injury a few months back I cramp unless i play a big shouldered neck (ive settled on 2014 Traditionals LPs with their 59 profile and American Original Strat 50s necks as my favorites .90 1st and 1.0 inch 12th respectivly with big shoulders)

But i wanted to try a CC. Sweetwater had a demo dark cherryburst pop up with alot of flame, so i had to see what the fuss is about.

Got it in and man is it beautiful! Fit and finish are insane even better then the H150 standards! Rounded fretboard is amazing feeling its a slightly thick neck .889/.991 but small shoulders and light 8lb 6oz! Ive had far heavier strats and ibanezes! And the flame! The flame! Wow!

Acousticly just sweet nice and balanced not too much bass or treble just sweet. But plugged in is interesting, ive never played a real PAF just sheptone heartbreakers, 57s, BB1,2,3, 59T Gibsons, seth lovers, pearly gates, Duncan 59s.

These pickups are very airy and almost breathe but are mellow at first i dident like that at all especially while comparing the others but kept going back.

Then on the ride into work i put on best of allman brothers and bam Duane Allman tone is what i was hearing from the CC not shrill not high output just warm and smooth and very vocal.

I went to my local mom and pop to try a R8 and R9 the R9 sounded great more Gibsonesqe more ballsy chimey.

So im going to keep playing and see how i feel about it! Onto pics (most color accurate are the ones in low light laying flat)

Congrats; happy NGD! I've had that very guitar in my Reverb watch list for a few months and I'm almost equal parts relieved / sad that it's off the market. Your pics look even better than the ones Reverb had. I'm glad it went to a good home; play the s#!t out of it.

Nice one there.

I have a question aboutthe tailpiece, i see many heritage lp that have a tailpiece thats sky high, is this the reason you topwrapped it and lowered it?

Most of the Heritage lp i see seem to have this issue...

What is your commend on this since your now an official heritage owner?

It came factory with the top wrap.

My x2 standard h150s bridges are quite high but they are very punchy and super sustainy
