I was wondering about these aged H150s since i stumbled onto a SW add awhile back. Couldent find one that floated my boat untill 2 days ago! In the mean time i wanted to try some heritages and ordered a Chestnut burst and a non aged 150 dirty lemon.
Both are amazing quality the lemon is more of a plain top with a super dark board but has a tone that just punches you in the chest thick deep and knarly. The chestnut is similar a touch more treble but thick and full.
Now the aged..... amazing monster flame top. Aging is pretty neat similar to a murphy aged LP. Lighter FB and much more treble not a full or hit you in the chest punch. But sounds more vintage? More articulate? More airy if you will. Can only keep 2 (should only keep 1 really) the chestnut is staying for sure. Well onto pics!
