I guess I'm the weird one. I've never really liked Goldtops. No problem with others who do love them, variety is the spice of life, but they've never done anything for me. The punchline to that is if I had a nickle for every time someone saw me playing my natural finish Standard on stage and came up to me after the show to tell me how much they liked my Goldtop, I would have a sh!tload of nickles.
