Congrats, love reading stories like yours where there's a considerable amount of thought and effort that's been invested pre-purchase. Glad you are happy with it... only gonna get better with age!

Nice to hear! I'm really happy with it Only more so since yesterday. I brought the guitar to my own luthier for a setup, because my guitars are Always perfect for how I want them if he's worked on them. The guitar is now more adjusted to my personal preferences.

I also let him put the Seymour Duncan Seth Lovers that I had installed in my Epiphone into my new Gibson. I love these pickups and they sound great in this guitar as well. There's nothing wrong with the '61 pickups, I have them in my 2018 SG Standard and love those pups in that guitar. But in a Les Paul I liked the Seth Lovers better.

In conclusion: the guitar feels, plays and sounds even better to me with the setup and pickup swap! :)
