NGD Gibson Les Paul Special Plus

Picked this up off reverb.com over the weekend. They had a Halloween promotion that got me a little more than $100 off what was already a pretty good price on a showroom model, so I jumped. The actual seller was Chicago music exchange, and I’ve heard nothing but great things about them. The guitar is awesome, I am very pleased.

Ah.. never put that together before. And I'm always surprised that so many people don't know that Guitar Center owns Musician's friend (and Music 123, and The Woodwind & The Brasswind). AMS, ZZounds, and Same Day Music.com are all one company too, I believe.

Almost bought this same one from CME... it was just over $500 with the promo. I picked up a Charvel San Dimas Pro Mod instead. Probably didn't need another LP.

It's admittedly difficult for me to "accept" a Special with humbuckers, but that thing looks like it would take no prisoners, do it well, and do it handsomely.
