Sorry,but that bridge is brutal.

The saddles are worn badly,....and the bridge itself looks out of whack,...bent or cracked by the holes for the pole pieces.
Something on the net:)

The seller told me it is from 73.
And when I use guitar dater project it tells me 70,71 or 72 (based on the serial number). And the pot codes says 51st week of 72. So a 73 seems about right?

Also, this guitar is made in Kalamazoo right?

Beautiful guitar!

I've notched new saddles by taking an old set of strings and carefully laying it in place in the center of the saddle, on top where the string will ride, then tapping it gently with a small tack hammer. Do this just enough to cause a slight indent that is enough to guide the file.

Next open the slots with a small jewelry file, and as said above, go slowly measuring frequently with the proper gauge string. In a pinch, I have wrapped a string of the right gauge with sandpaper to use in the same way as a file.

Finally, smooth down the slot carefully using very fine grit sand paper. I've used the wrapped string method successfully before for the step too.

Looking forward to seeing it all together again!

I don't know why, but, I always thought that the Deluxe came with mini-humbuckers. I had a '74 Deluxe and it had Minis.BTW, that is a very nice looking Les Paul.
