NGD - Fernandes FSG-120 - L series pickups?

Hi Folks,

Back again with another NGD. Jumped on a doubleneck JP (which could be either japan or Jimmy page I suppose), from what I believe is 1979 or 1980.

One question that has me flummoxed is the pickups in this thing. Seems like it has a Fernandes L series pickups, and the wiki suggests they are l-8005s, but those look like distortion type ceramics with the oversized pole pieces - does anyone have any more info on this, or experience with these guitars and their pickups?

Well it has arrived - and I'm in love!

Necks are super comfortable, and the pickups are pretty dark through my jet city amp, which lends a really nice droning quality without being ice-picky. In pretty clean condition aside from swirls and buckle rash.
