Strings rusted to the nut, neck straight, cut the old strings off, polished the frets and oiled the board ~ this thing is a beast ~ Alnico II''s or 36th anniversary is where I'm leaning on pup replacements.

There's a whole VIBE to this guitar and I am digging it.

mine is sitting in the closet, no rusty strings though.

My Explorer is also an Epi with a korona wood body. Is yours also one of the American Musical Supply/Zzounds/Same Day Music special runs?

How would i know? It says made in Korea on the back of the headstock ~ Thanks
I don't think yours is a special run because it isn't a korina wood with a clear finish, and I don't think Americal Musical had a black special run. I asked angeldeville because his looks just like mine.

We had to pay a LOT more than you did for you Explorer!
