Yes, mine was flawless out of the box. Action is a little high but the neck is straight. Will lower it a hair and I think it will be fine. It is a tad heavy but not crazy heavy. I do not have anything to weigh it on, but I would say 9.5 to 10lbs. Acoustically it is very loud and resonant, sounds great plugged in too!
