So this came yesterday. I'm absolutely loving it. New MIM Duo Sonic HS. The neck feels great, it has a pau ferro fretboard and I already have a strat with a pau ferro Warmoth neck that I love. Overall the guitar feels amazing, very light I don't want to put it down. Fit and finish are flawless. The color really drew me in and it looks better in person. Stock pickups sound great to my ears as well. Short scale does feel faster, but I'm no speed demon to begin with. A nice addition to my herd, I have 8 electrics and 2 acoustics and I alway try to go for something a bit different when I add to the collection. This fits the bill.

Nice, and congrats on the NGD!

I like the Offset Series and I've been lusting after the Shell Pink Mustang w/ Pau Ferro. I have heard nothing but great things about this line, and I will have one........oh yes, it shall be mine...........:naughty:

Enjoy!

I'm still in the honeymoon phase with my Mustang. They're great guitars!

Congrats! A friend on another forum just got one, just like yours, even same color.

With all the new attention to Duos I got my old '60 Fender, Sonia, out of mothballs and played her at a side band practice last myself! She's a lot more playable than I remembered, though the short scale does take some getting used to.

I foolishly sold my '76 or '77 Musicmaster about 8 years ago. It was a yellowish cream color and the finish had tons of crazing. It had been through a flood so electronics had been changed out but otherwise it was original. I'd love to have it back as a sister to my new Duo Sonic.

That is one beautiful guitar!

I'm a Jaguar player , myself __ but that is one damn nice guitar :thumb:
humbucker in the bridge could be useful

don't see a reason for the tone knob ( just me ) , so that spot would make a good place for the switch

Randy Marsh said it was a ghost that covered him in ectoplasm........that's his story and he's sticking to it.
