NGD Desert Star 008 “DC Junior”

This is another fine instrument made by @LtDave32 and his wife Anna from their shop Desert Star Guitars.

This is DSG version of a DC Junior ....

Honduran Mahogany body and neck with a Custom Midnight Black Pearl finish.

It plays and sounds magnificent. Anyways I’d rather be playing it than posting about it..... so here are some pics..... because the finish is so mirror like it’s picking up weird reflections of my basement ceiling and other objects.

Next is a custom V for cherrysunburst, followed by our take on a melody maker for bud stoner, and a proper TV SG for CerebralGasket. During this next (and quickly) are a replacement neck for Neffco' s Mosrite, some nylon 6 nuts, etc etc.

You ought to see it under the lights. You get a whole galaxy , blue hues, greens.. It's the pearl. Anna came up with a fantastic formula with a special grain filler that really delivers.

I have a pretty good feeling this is going to be my number one..... just got thru playing “La Grange”..... it nailed it !!

Harmonics are damn near effortless.... rings like a bell...,, crisp and clear.... the neck is perfect.... just f’ing perfect.

Its like my R9..... nice round med-chunk.... extremely comfy.

.87 to .95 at the 12th I believe.
