received my bonamassa 58 lp bb ! yeah , this guitar is great ! I`ve complained about the lousy fretwork for..well, decades ..and to my surprise , this one sports close to superb fretwork , no fret buzz, no uneven frets , dead frets etc..and it`s a joy to play this one, even with the stock strings !! I like the humbuckers , and the sustain , man !! ooooh !! one anomaly ,,,there`s this light coloured streak in the ebony , looks weird .. I know ebony aint uniformly black , and it`s not a huge deal, as I can Dye the fretboard myself , done some ebonizing over the years . overall very very happy !

mine is very nice too, only real issues are a bit of glue where the top body binding and fretboard meet and the frets are far from polished (bending makes a loud scraping sound).

Sounds great and plays great otherwise, to be honest had they charged a bit more for such a limited run instrument I'd have bought it too.

Nice one, looks awesome. FWIW I reckon that strip looks cool and it's something that is pretty unique to your guitar, I wouldn't worry about trying to cover it up

update !

installed an faber ABR Bridge and studs , cleaned the fretboard , polished the frets & new strings . I AM IN LOVE !!

Was the Faber bridge a drop-in replacement?
