NGD....and a story

Last month I bought a Gibson Les Paul Junior Special on a trip to Guitar Center with my buddy (our own aussiebail). I saw the LP on the wall and tried it through a Blues Jr and LOVED it. I brought it home and test drove it for a few days and decided that the money wasn't really available so I returned it since I had just bought my Dr Z Ghia. I returned it despite getting a great deal of $150 off on the guitar.

Well, my wife and I went to Guitar Center yesterday since we were in the area. The plan "as usual" was strings only. I walked in and saw "my" LP Junior on the wall and told my wife how much I missed it. GC confirmed it was the exact guitar I had returned. Thanks to a wonderful wife, I came home with the same LP Junior I had returned last month and GC was cool enough to honor the price I paid last month ($649).

This is such a fun and great sounding guitar. I love it and can honestly say that it is a great addition to my collection.

Online this particular model is called a Jr Special for some reason...

The pickguard is different than on a regular special and it has p90s...other than that, I cant attest as to why it would be called a special Jr
