Anyway shes beautiful
2010 American Standard FSR, Vintage White Nitro finish (kind of yellow/cream really)
select alder body, beautiful maple neck gloss front, satin

Date on neck is Sept 2010 so its right off the line

Nice...I love the color. On strats I´ve always liked the "idea" of having a sunburst, but in real life a sold color, especially white and the shades of white, just beat any sunburst hands down.

I didn´t know the standard strats were nitro finished though.

Yea i love sunbursts also, but never got around to getting one.

I am really surpized at the beautful finish they did in this
I have had a white Strat before a 91 and it was kind
of dull looking this is a purdy guitar, my EJ is jealous

This is a limited run (FSR) that came with Nitro Finish, they have already discontinued it, but
you can still find some online theres not many of them, there is some on eBay, some at
a few stores here and there.

That´s cool. Thank you very much for this info.

The only thing that always puts me off the most US strats and prevents me form getting one is that I really hate the way Fender does their Urethane and Poly on the bodies.

I only accept poly when it´s on a PRS.

But these FSRs sound pretty interesting.

There are a few FSR models out there witn Nitro, there is
the Vintage White like i got, there is also another short
run called "Ebony and Ivory" a black strat and an Ivory strat, also Nirto finish
Standards, with matching color Heads, then there is an FSR
Thin Skin Laquer 61 Vintage standard, and of course the
Highway 1 serious have nitro laquer bodies also
Not sure if they all have nitro necks but the bodies are

some of them are already discontinued but you can still find
them online if you google them

no reason to be, i love your White strat, its actualy what i
was going to get in the first place so i would have a Jimi Hendrix
looking strat. I just found a good deal on this one because
the guy kept the case and sold the guitar, which is odd hahah

Finaly got the strings on finished setting her up
(im picky when it comes to guitar setup took a little tweeking
changed out one of the springs with a Vintage spring it tightened
it up good)
The guitar sings, sustain for days, the preamp really ads sparkle
to it even when its turned down.

I have all the vintage guitars covered, it was time
for something more up to date, really love the new
American Standards, the tremolo is superior to the
vintage ones i have on my other strats, more like
a cross between a vintage and rose and the new heavy
block really helps the sustain, i can hold a note as long
as on my LP with it.
Also LOVE locking tuners, damn why have i not
tried them before, talk about making restringing your
guitar Easy! The new necks are sweet to, and the
micro tilt i was able to get my strings lower than i have
before.

Love it
