So i pulled off the control cavity plate to have a peek inside and are the all this messy wiring wise? or has someone messed about with the wiring in the past?

Checked the pot codes and they came back as being made in the 52nd week of 1968 in Chicago.
I have my friends 1968 sg special..the cavity looks 100% identical to yours ...the pots though have no markings (date and such) on them but they look old and untouched...could the pots be original to my friends sg special?
were there 60's sg's with pots that say nothing on them?
thanks

Sometime in 1969 it changed from "Kluson Deluxe" to "Gibson Deluxe", which lasted til '77.
Same tuners, different name stamped on case.
So those Schaller-esque tuners they switched to in '72 were still made by Kluson?
