60s Standard in Bourbon Burst. Always liked the Bourbon Burst color. The tight flame is awesome on this top, "pictures don't do it justice." Its a good weight for these new Standards at 8.6 pounds. Comfortable neck and sounds outstanding. Strong lacquer/buffing compound smell from this one so have to let it air out a bit lol. It came with the Chinese made case - I like the TKL's better though, this case lid doesn't align too great lol. It does the job though.
The guitar plays really well...gonna adjust it a little bit after a few days of letting it acclimate to the environment.

Good camera pictures:

Very nice! Isn't the finish similar to a historic LP you have/had?
It's hard to keep track of your impressive collection!
Congratulations on the NGD and enjoy in good health

Thanks all!
That’s a proper bourbon burst. Also is that a exclusive store run of a AAA top? That thing is ridiculously beautiful.
Nope its just a regular run. I knew it wasn't going to last long with this weight too, so I hopped on it.

Beautiful! Congrats, HNGD :jam: and play her in good health!

I've found it hard to photograph my Bourbon Burst too. Of course, I find it hard to photograph anything... :laugh2:

If you're so inclined, feel free to post some pics of her here too:

Post Your Historic Bourbon Bursts!

:cheers2:

Haha will do. Yeah, it is actually a tough color to photograph. I'll have to try and get it outside sometime and get photos in direct sunlight.

The R9 I had had a cherry teaburst finish. Lighter burst color than this.
Lol wish I could keep them all, but I can't. They've all been outstanding though.
