That make's perfect sense ...I figured it out. These " '58s " were destined to be CC 29s.

The doubled thumb wheels, the nickel jack plate, the burst color, and even the aging on the last aged " '58 " on WW site is the same. Looks like Gibson 'over aged' the leftovers like they did on the repurposed Goldfinger CCs.
