NGD - 50s Standard - Tobacco Burst - Fed Ex Follies ….

Hello guys,

Well I have pulled the trigger on another 50s Standard in Tobacco Burst. I like the top on this Les Paul, it’s not overly flashy but just a nice subtle figuring of the maple. The back I like also - It appears to be a one piece back. I like my Les Pauls on the heavy side and this example does not disappoint as she tips the scales at 10lbs 14oz. This will be wonderful to own.

Why Fed Ex Why …. It never fails when your waiting for a guitar of a lifetime the shipping service goes into some kind of “mystery mode”. I could buy hundreds of low priority items & they would all fall into perfect delivery. The one time I really want to depend on the delivery it simply starts being erratic.

The delivery was scheduled for today in the afternoon. The package never even made the “out for delivery” status today.

I’m sure everything will be fine - but why does this always happen to only important high dollar packages.

This is what I always try to have guitars just delivered straight to a local Fed Ex office. Seems to run muuuuch smoother! And I can just go get it at my leisure. Hope it all works out well.
