Thanks KK. A few have just been passing through. The two pictured together above are my two horses, now and for the foreseeable future. Just phenomenal guitars. I'm a very lucky dude.

Coming up on two months with this guitar. I've been playing it every day - even taking it with me when I'm on the road for work - and doing a lot of 1:1 comparisons with my vintage parts R9.

The '21 is noticeably brighter and ever so slightly louder at the same settings. Tonebenders are my go-to pedals for dirt, and this lemon just screams - especially through my Mk-I. Cuts like a laser beam. It's a great guitar that is already occupying its own sonic territory within my little collection.

Took delivery today (finally) of this Historic. I had to work from my home office after picking it up, so aside from sneaking glances during Zoom calls at it hanging on the wall, I haven't had much chance to really check it out. I just snapped a few quick pics to throw up this NGD thread at the request of a fellow forum friend. More to follow.

This is my second '21 R9, and I think they're killer. I love the dark back and the unpotted CBs sound awesome. This one also has a real, uncirculated Burst serial number than ends in 59! Overall, a super cool Historic. For anyone who hasn't done business with Arturo, he's a wonderful guy who's genuinely passionate about these guitars. Check out this Jimmy Page quote he hand wrote on the top of the shipping box. How freakin' cool is that?

When i saw the title i was prepared to be grossed out by some weird Gibson thing "green lemon" but instead that is frigg'n awesome.
