NGD: 2021 R9 - Green Lemon

Took delivery today (finally) of this Historic. I had to work from my home office after picking it up, so aside from sneaking glances during Zoom calls at it hanging on the wall, I haven't had much chance to really check it out. I just snapped a few quick pics to throw up this NGD thread at the request of a fellow forum friend. More to follow.

It's a 2021 R9 in Green Lemon, originally M2M for @Top Gun and purchased by me from Arturo Lavalle, The Guitar Dude. Hand picked top.

This is my second '21 R9, and I think they're killer. I love the dark back and the unpotted CBs sound awesome. This one also has a real, uncirculated Burst serial number than ends in 59! Overall, a super cool Historic. For anyone who hasn't done business with Arturo, he's a wonderful guy who's genuinely passionate about these guitars. Check out this Jimmy Page quote he hand wrote on the top of the shipping box. How freakin' cool is that?

It's a 2021 R9, M2M in green lemon for Arturo Lavalle (The Guitar Dude). He hand picked the top and had this as his personal LP until it was recently bumped by (I believe) a Braz Anniversary model.

Duane, beautiful guitar indeed! I must correct the record here as that guitar was made for me. I picked out the top (from Curt), I chose the green lemon top color, even chose the back color. When the completed guitar arrived at the HOG, I was unable to take delivery of it due to medical reasons. Keep me in mind if you ever decide to sell it…

Wow! Surprising (given what I was told) but not surprising (given your track record with monster tops). Perhaps I misunderstood Arturo. Thanks for the correction! I'll amend my original post.
