Enjoying it. It has a pretty fat neck compared to the DC models but not baseball bat my any means. The only quality issue I can see is since the finish is so thin there's a small spot on the top of the headstock where some of the white finish didn't quite cover the black used for the heastock face. Other than that neck is dead straight. Frets are perfectly leveled. The fretboard it's self has some cool red times too it. While it looks pretty good now it will be interesting to see how it looks after I condition it. I had L&M do a setup for me with 10-52s as it was free but I was able to lower the action a little more by adjusting the bridge to get it playing even better. Pickups are great. They seem pretty hot and are more on the dark side leading to them sounding closer to humbuckers than the ones in my Casino and some of the more fendery sounding P90s that are out there. Before I picked it up I had already ordered a black pokerchip for it and it seems for some reason it came with one already installed? Regardless I have one coming to me in the mail right now so if anyone needs one send me a PM and I can pop it in the mail when I receive it.

Ohh I should also point out that it came with a gigbag and the zipper wasn't sewed in correctly on the front pouch leading to the zipper pull and body (carriage maybe? The part that does the zipping) sliding right off the zipper the first time I closed it. Had a tough time getting it back on the way it came so now it closes in the opposite direction and I will need to sew the end of the zipper back to the bad so it doesn't happen again.

I like those. There's a black one locally, and it IS Gibson Month, so I could put one over three years if I wanted to... but I prefer the white ones.

I could do a store transfer or order one, I suppose...

I got mine store transfered and did a 1-year as they are offering it at 0% then never offered me the stupid t-shirt pack but I am not bothered as IMO the t-shirt is pretty ugly. If you jump on one let me know as I have an extra pokerchip if you want it.

I’ve wanted a white Les Paul for a looooong time. I might have to break down and buy one of these.

I have a cheap L&M T-shirt from 2017 (traded away that Tribute GT), and it 's nasty. Four LPs printed on it, and not one of them approaches a real LP color.
My history with L&M includes the store they bought out. There's pages of my purchases in their computer :D

Pretty sure I have a clinical addiction to white guitars. Own a white Squire Strat, Jazzmaster, DC Junior I built and an Epi Firebird.

Unfortunately they know me by name now when I walk in. My rep texts me when they get something in he thinks I might like. Regarding the shirt if it was just one of those black Gibson ones I would have been more of a stickler about getting one.

That looks really cool! Congrats ;)
Re: dark sounding pu's. It could easily be because as you say they are on the hot side of things but could also be because of pot and tone cap value.
If you can you should check those first if you ever think about changing the pickups.
You probably know already but just throwing that suggestion in for whoever might find it useful.
I'm saying so because I've had direct experience with my Trad in my avatar pic.

The bridge is plenty punchy enough for my tastes and I really only use the neck for occasional lead so I actually don't think I will end up messing with it too much. I could mess with the pots if I wanted to brighten it up but I would have to redo the whole electronics as it uses the circuit board style. I prefer higher output dark pickups for what I play anyways. I should say to anyone looking to buy one it's no darker than a PAF style humbucker would be.

Congrats, the tributes are really great guitars for the $$$, and a good value. I got me a OC LP Special a couple months back in TV yellow, really very cool, but a lot more money than the trib. If I had to do it again, I'd get the tribute, and could've saved myself about 6 bills. The only difference between the tribute, and the OC Special really, is mine has a bound neck, and a Pearl inlay logo on the headstock.

Anyway nice axe! BTW, does your Special tribute have a maple neck on it? I just got a Jr. tribute, and it has a maple neck, versus mahogany on the OC Jr. Oh yeah, one more thing. I notice yours has a lightning bridge on it, the vintage wraparound bridge is on the OC Special, so it doesn't have the compensation on it, and is to '56 specs, except for the tuners aren't 3 on a plate, and are regular Gibson Deluxe.

Maple neck yes. I actually really like the maple neck for this guitar as due to the lack of pore filling on the instrument it makes the neck a little smoother. On top of that one of the punk bars I play is pretty tiny and I have seen instruments knocked over or broken when things got too rowdy so hopefully this will take the beating should that ever happen to it. As for specs the neck profile is very 50s, electronics are modern circuit board style, tuners are plastic but not mounted on a plate. No belly cut or anything like that. Bridge is compensated and is adjustable via 2 grub screws on the back of the bridge. Not sure if the guitar comes with a pokerchip or not. Mine did and it was already installed but I do not see one in the promo images from Gibson or Long & McQuade where I bought it.

Nice I was looking at these in the NAMM coverage - been looking around for a few reviews etc but couldn’t find any. Was contemplating the black / ebony humbucker version- thank they are 490s. Maybe I’ll hold on until later this year see if they get a price drop
