Not sure how long this one will stick around, simply because I bought it with my Musicians Friend Backstage Member points (that I've been accumulating forever) with the intent of converting the points into cash.

I literally just unboxed (factory sealed) it moments ago. Nice beefy neck, Burstbuckers, the standard fare aluminum bridge and tailpiece. Nice example with no QC issues.

Need time to decide if I'll just pack it back up for sale, or go through and give it a full setup and keep it around. Either way, a pretty damn cool guitar. What's not to love about Pelham Blue?

I think I'm gonna hold onto this one for a bit. Really digging the neck profile and the BB 2 & 3 pickups in this hog slab. It setup easily, stays in tune, and looks great. I mean, sh*t. It was essentially free with my rewards points. Didn't pay a dime out of pocket.

I really like Pelham Blue, even the "antique" version. Great choice & congrats!

Also...
I would go for a cover on the neck and uncovered bridge w/ "normal" LP pickguard (if possible).

Holy Mackerel.

I almost lost my cool (I have some to spare, no worries) 'til I saw the humbuckers.

-But...

...Somehow, that really works with the Pelham (and the zebras)!

Agreed that neck binding would be a bit much. Would toss the balance.

Brother, I'm on the fence with covers or no covers, both ways look KILLER, but way yes on the reflectors (swoon!).

It's also the easily gotten, or even free things that we want to hold onto more dearly. Why do you suppose that is? Underdog thing? Glad you're hanging onto it. I love it. Big surprise from

the big P-90 fan and purist that I am.

Congrats. Really BIG congrats!

Looks beautiful stock! I was at Guitar Center yesterday (actually two and a Sam Ash) and drooled over these Specials. Never a fan of Pelham Blue, but I sure dig it on this one!
