Beautiful guitar!! Where's the pick guard?????

:thumb:
Well they sent it with the guitar. You have to install it with screw. I think I may look into seeing if I could purchase the removable one. I guess you would have to change the pick up covers also. May run in to a road block. But it would be nice not to have to drill it. Don’t know if I coul stand it.

Never. It's always good to see new people discovering Les Pauls.

Happy New Guitar Day, That's a beautiful one you picked out!

Beautiful! And congrats! HNGD!!

The top on it is near perfection.

As for the pickguard... please don’t drill. My policy is... if the factory already drilled it for the guard, then pickguard on. If the factory did not drill it, then don’t drill. Either go pickguard off OR (as you alluded earlier) get yourself one of the screwless pickguards with the clip-on tabs used on the HP models (also used on the 2015 models) and cut some notches in the pickup rings for the pickguard tabs (or get some spare pickup rings to do so with). Best of both worlds... and really the only positive thing to come out of the 2015 model year. ;)

I’ve done this before (ie, gotten a 2015 pickguard and cut notches in the rings)... easy and works like a charm... and no drilling required!!!! :D
