I have been eyeballing aged gold tops for so long! And then last weekend, I spotted this one posted for sale here in the classifieds by Mr. mfolet. When I saw it, it was late Friday night, and it had already been posted for sale for a full day at a great price, so I figured that I'd be too late. On Saturday, the guitar was being shipped to me, and I had it in hand Monday evening! Thank you mfolet for a great guitar!

The neck feels very similar to my R9, almost identical. I would say that it's a little bit thicker feeling than my McCreadys, but not by much. It's super comfortable, and sounds great! It's also pretty loud acoustically, which I always think is cool on a Les Paul. Everything is completely stock with CustomBucker pickups. I love the aging, it's tasteful and definitely not overdone. I used to be one of those who didn't understand the attraction to aged guitars... but once I got my first one, I don't know if there's any looking back for me :) There's a comfort level there that makes the guitar more enjoyable for me. If I make a mark or a ding on it, it's ok! It already has a ton! I'm super careful with my guitars anyway, but still, the aging helps me enjoy the guitar more, which is what it's all about! The case is aged as well. Another cool thing on the case, this is my first case to have the Lifton sticker inside the case. I have two other aged cases, but those two are from 2016, and don't have the little Lifton sticker.

Enough of my blabbing.... enjoy the pics!

That's my level of aging. No major back rash or bare wood areas.

Looks a well loved and well played guitar. Congrats!

That is one of the better examples of aging that I've seen.
