Went to buy this LP yesterday from a buyer who was walking distance from my place.
A 2016 Standard Faded in honey burst. I added some of the seller's photos as the lighting in my mancave is not showing the grain nicely.
Does anybody know more about these? I know they were a limited proprietary run for a guitar shop. It has no weight relief (4.1 kg), 57 Classic Pickups, and a 50's neck (not as thick as my 2014 LPJ though). As far as I can make out there 200 of these made. But there was another limited run by another guitar shop in the same year with 60's neck and burstbuckers, so some of the info I found I don't know which series it is for.

That is a stunning gal right there!

Zebra's always look beautiful and I'd take them over double cream any day.

I had one of these (2016 Std Faded) for a brief amount of time. One of the best new guitar deals I've ever had - about $1450 brand new from EM Shorts out of Wichita, KS, about 25% cheaper than any of the online places. Last time I checked, they no longer carry Gibsons because Gibson over the years has really given the smaller dealers the shaft when it comes to all the stipulations and rules about what they have to buy and carry, but I digress...

The guitar was awesome, but just wasn't for me. For one, I'm left handed, and it was a righty...lol.

I just wanted a LP so bad, and was really intrigued by the Fadeds. Great quality control, mine was flawless. I loved the neck, which had a really unique profile - it was very comfortable, had nice shoulders (which I usually don't like) but had the right proportions. I also dug the thin finish.

I didn't really bond with the sound, but there was something about these 57 Classics that I dug, so much so, that I found one of the pickups from this same run of guitars and have put it in a host of guitars and projects I've had and I love what it does with my amp.

I've got pictures of mine around here somewhere...I'll post it up if I find it. There was another member on here that also got his from EM Shorts. Great store btw.
