Double creams and the washed out burst look great. I would be looking for double creams on my r9 if the custombuckers didn't already sound good. I am jealous of the look it gives historic

I'd say give it a go! Can always go back to the custombuckers if you don't like the sound of the double whites as much. I definitely prefer these Wizz PAFs to the custombuckers
