Hi,

I've been looking for one of these Limited Edition Sandblasted Teles since I first saw them in a couple of local stores back in 2015. They were almost instantly sold out & I now know why: They only produced 250 Worldwide in Red and 250 in Blue. I gave up on them but was reminded when I saw Paul Langlois of Tragically Hip play one at their final show last summer. I've been searching since, and when I came across this specimen, I was sold. I added a custom pick guard and P90 in the neck position....enjoy:

Much better photos than the catalogs showed.
You can see the texture.
I'm staring. Staring.
Hahaha!

Thanks guys! I'm really enjoying the P90 in the neck, and it sounds great blended with the bridge pickup. The grain definitely pops and is hard to discern on the stock photos. This thing is a keeper!

Very sweet guitar, congratulations and HNGD!

I also started gassing for one after seeing Paul play it during that last Hip show.
What an incredibly unique and fantastic looking instrument!

They are hard to track down. There is still one left on Reverb but that's about it. I couldn't find the vapour-type pick guard that Paul was using so settled for the carbon-fibre look and wanted a P90 instead of a hum bucker as I've got lots of Humbucker guitars. With the satin finish, it's an incredibly resonant and loud guitar unplugged. Also really like the brass bridge saddles and the USA appointments on this relatively affordable USA Tele.

Cool guitar, but I'm still on the fence whether I like it or not.
Were I to go for a rustic look, I'd go with Knotty Pine.
