The high bar set by recent R8's reminds me of the 01-02's(not the actual tops, the visual POW factor) which were everywhere for a years and don't come up for sale as much anymore.

That is one beautiful guitar. I love the color and the ambering of the finish. Looks like a keeper, but if it's not I'll be watching for it.
How much does it weigh, and can you tell us about the neck size?

8lb 6oz. and the neck size is a bit thicker than the last few 2013 R9's I've had. It's still very comfortable, and does not have outrageous shoulders.
