Thats one of the reasons i got this one, my other guitar epiphone les paul tribute 2010 have a set of 57's and that one sounds killer.

Funny thing is that i thought the gibson would sound really close if not identical to my epiphone, but there's actually quite a difference in sound despite the same pickups

IMO, both the '13 and '14 Traditionals are the best Gibson has to offer. I love the chunky necks but man the the mineral streaks, the finish, the grain on the back......This makes your LP one special guitar. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
