NGD 2013 R9 Lefty Iced Tea

Just received my new 2013 R9 from Fedex this morning. It is incredible. The neck is perfect for me and it sounds great. I quickly brought it outside and snapped a couple of photos before it rains. Thanks to Curt at the HOG. The customer service there is top notch.
A huge thanks to Lefty Elmo. I asked him if he played any of the lefty R9's at the HOG. He hadn't,but he kindly volunteered to go there,try this guitar out on several different amps, take photos and give me his impressions of it. Thank you so much kind sir. I really appreciate it.

After playing this guitar for a few days, I have to say that I'm really pleased. What really sets it apart is the neck pickup. The bridge sounds great also, but in the neck position it really shines over my other R9. I've noticed that my other guitar is kind of muddy or lacking defintion when using the neck pickup. This one just seems to sparkle. I don't know if it's the weight difference, (8lbs 1oz) or a combination of things. Anyway, I'm happy and can now shift my GAS towards a new amp!!
