bought this from a church band guy that played this since new, twice on sunday
and 3 times during the week. has been played a ton. gotta a really good deal
on it. plan to put in byo blizzard of 59 pups in it, along with some aged parts.
the black rings looks like shyte, so they can't stay on there. tuners will be changed
out to some sort of creme that will match the rings and other plastics. stock pups
sound pretty good. neck is a bit muddy, but the bridge rocks pretty good.

Nice...congrats @elephantrider!

Tributes are great LPs imo. I must say, I wonder what the previous owner was thinking with the gold tuners and the rest of the hardware being chrome.

haha yeah, not sure. ordering a set of aged nickel tuners to replace those.
have a bunch of stuff on order. aged bridge / tailpiece, plastics, and knobs.
will probably go with a toneman 50's harness. got it broken down, and found
some odd markings in the pcb cavity.

Congratulations! Looks great apart form the plastics. A BB1 should not be muddy in the neck, so Gibson probably used 300K pots for either tone or volume pots.
Enjoy :)
