It is an awesome book.... you soon realize that Jimmy kept everything he ever used....including his clothes:rofl:

It’s amazing how much detail he can remember,... especially when he couldn’t remember the chord changes when on stage in 1975..... He did keep really good records of everything... from plane tickets to studio diaries.

He posts "On This Day" memories on face-doohickey often and I wonder to myself "How TF does he remember all this shit?"
Some people just have that knack. I guess.

Yes absolutely.... its a great book too.... it covers Jimmy’s entire musical history with all the details as The Anthology.... every tour date.... guest appearances..... and it’s an even a bigger book.

Thank you. As if I needed more arm twisting. I ordered a copy. My word, if it’s as good as Anthology, which I’m absolutely loving so far, I’m in for a treat.

Very nice looking guitar! From what I remember Roger Giffin made a guitar for Jimmy Page around 1991 that was spec'd to his main guitar. This signature model was to be based off of that 1991 guitar and Gibson made changes to it during the 1995/1996 run without Jimmy's approval and he sued Gibson.

There is a couple of pictures online with Jimmy and the guitar builder working on the project. I may be wrong here but I think 10-15 years ago that guitar builder was on a forum talking about this particular project and even uploaded images.

To the OP, it's your guitar and you can do as you please to make it more comfortable for your pleasure. Save all parts in the closet until you sell or revert back to stock.

If this guitar didn't have Jimmy Page's name attached, I still say it was great model during the mid-late 90's especially for push-pull pots as that was almost unheard of.
