Just got this last week from Dave's, I'm pretty happy with it. :thumb:

I can't say that I'm flabbergasted with the '13 changes, but it's a solid R9 and I really liked the top.

All of my R's were starting to look the same. Lemonburst!:laugh2: So I figured some iced tea was in order.

Anyways, enjoy the pics!

Could just be the angle of that first photo, but it is a little lower than the '12s.

I suppose it's more "historically" accurate now. :naughty:

That is (roughly, at least) the mid-1950s position seen on P-90 goldtops and also a handful of PAF-equipped goldtops from the earlier months of 1957. To see a Gibson logo placed like that on a reissue is unusual, although there were a handful of goldtop reissues sold mostly in the Japanese market either in 2011 or 2012, that had more or less this exact Gibson logo placement, and "Les Paul Model" silkscreen placement. Those guitars also featured a back color that Japanese dealers referred to as "Ginger Back."

Nice! Are you referring to Dave's Guitar Shop in WI? My cousin's husband just went there and said it's incredible. I'm not too terribly far away - sounds like a nice place to visit on a rainy day! :)
