My guess would be a LP Junior or Special. I'd like to see one of those. Just a guess.....

Thinking they may give Joe a rest for a while. Since the Beck LP was a success I'd look for more big name guitars. Jimmy Page LP or perhaps a Tony Iommi SG or an Angus Young SG.

Good idea!

I wasn't sure they were still doing the Bonamassa series but that line seems to have run it's course, imo.

For a time, those were the top shelf of Epiphone (excluding elites, USA, etc) but only a couple were really "Limited Edition" and held their value...Treasure Firebird, '58 Black Beauty and of course, the creamest of the crop, Amos.

Used sections are loaded with older LPs and a ton of his 335s. Really nice guitars but it's probably time to mine other artists' favorites.

I think that makes sense. They have kind of done everything else.

Seems to be based on what he's playing / purchased at the time. I agree though, going to be pretty hard to get anything new and different. Has had 7 different LP's. It was good to see last years P90 was at a lower price point than the previous, and it is a nice guitar. I've never seen him play Jnr's or Specials but who knows....

For sure there will a Page LP given the recent Gibson releases. Maybe even a double neck??

My bet is a Jimmy Page LP from the USA line. The previous ones are mostly unobtanium, Even the 90s ones, which are the least valued, are running what...$5k now?

Jimmy Page LP USA line. Slim neck, Custombuckers, maybe Grover tuners. Priced at $3499 MSRP

Umm... we're talking Epiphone here. No way 3K would fly unless Jimmy was going to personally bring you the guitar.

IMHO it would be better if they don't release any Bonamassa guitars for couple years, we already have so many!
Agree. Unless they can find something truly different. I think they will go a different route for a while.

They haven't done his Explorer yet.
But that's really not a body that he is often photographed with.
I think some of the events in LA over the last year took their toll on his "guitar safari" activity... and he's kicked out another album and just finished up a tour.

I am quite surprised that the non-vanity version of last year's release has not sold out. The SG took a while, but it sold out before the latest LP was released.
Similar with the 335... I think they see the market softening.

Competing with the regular versions now.before they didn't have them. Market overall is soft.

Soft market, yes.
Competing with the regular versions? The 3-pickup SG was unique to the JB lineup until the IBG was released the following year (and not unexpected given they tooled up for the model), and the only P90 models other than the JB "Copper" are Jr and Specials.
Maybe when the next JB model is out... or when the current one sells out... we'll see an IBG P-90 50s model?

There is a Black Custom with P-90s that came out as a Guitar Center exclusive. Pretty easy to get.

My point was that currently there are a bunch of IBGC models out. This makes it harder for a JB model to stand out and be worth extra money. In terms of marketable Joe isn't up there with Page or Beck and far from Hendrix.

Yep.
Likely why the SG was a bit soft and the Copper still available.
