Ordered a cab and speaker separately. I need an input jack and an out to the speaker. Help? I prefer a non soldering option and to pickup at a local store if possible. Thanks!

You can buy a male or female 1/4" jack that attaches to the wire with screws. There are also solderless connectors to attach the wire to the speakers if that's what you need. But, I would learn how to solder.

Use stuff like this to connect wires to speakers:

1/4" solderless jack:

Doesn't the speaker cab have a jack or jack-plate already installed? If not, how thick is the back panel where the 1/4" jack will have to be installed?

Buy a few feet of lamp wire at the hardware store.

You can buy the 1/4" jack, crimp-on spade connectors at Radio Shack. My only concern about the 1/4" jack is that if the wood is too thick the jack won't attach properly. If this is the case you will need a jack plate (PartsExpress).

Ops. Missed the point about solderless 1/4" jack.

Also worth thinking about how you're going to mount the speaker(s). I used T-nuts and machine screws when I built my extension cab and would do so again if/when I build something else.

Soldering isnt difficult. I would certainly learn how, but there are solderless options like others have listed.
